A red of great character, from the variety of the same name that has been deeply rooted in our area since the beginning of the last century. It shows a brilliant ruby red colour, anticipating a markedly vinous and honest bouquet. In the mouth it reveals its excellent structure: a full, warm and robust wine, marked by a pleasant and intriguing bitterish note on the finish. Worth trying alongside the rich dishes of the local land-based tradition: excellent with roasts, robust risottos and cheese boards.
